Love This Stuff: Nailtini Simply Syrup base coat

Make room in your lacquer cabinet for Nailtini's Simple Syrup base coat. It's spiked with enamel-compatible dental fixatives like calcium fluoride and zinc oxide to provide a flawless canvas for nail lacquer, while maximizing polish life and protecting against the staining effects of even the darkest polish. In addition, self-leveling action smoothes ridges and fills in splits and cracks to give strength and durability to the nail, and a shot of optical brighteners reduces yellow tones from previous stains.  Love it! $12, nailtini.com

Fall is officially here

I was shopping this morning (big surprise), spotted a big Halloween store, and realized that Fall is officially upon us. As many of you know, here in South Florida, we really only experience one season--HOT! However, this transplanted New Yorker, tries to mimic the spirit of the seasons by way of smell. When the scents of pumpkin, cinnamon, apple and mulling spices waft through my home, I can close my eyes and imagine true fall--complete with the sounds of a crackling fire and the bright, vibrant reds and oranges of changing leaves.

Known for their one-of-a-kind products and spot-on aromas, philosophy is an obvious favorite brand for someone as scent-obsessed as me. I was beyond excited to discover a limited edition (exclusively at Sephora) set called "Trick or Treat". For $20, you get a duo (8 oz. each) of their signature 3-in-1 cleansers (Shampoo, Bubble Bath & Shower Gel) in Pumpkin Spice Muffin and Caramel Apple. They seriously smell so good, you'll want to eat them! You can also purchase them separately in large 16 oz. sizes for $16 each.
