Clinique Even Better Makeup spf 15 & High Impact Curling Mascara

Ahhh.. Clinique, every time I try to leave, you suck me back in. I've had a love/hate relationship with this brand ever since my mom took me to their counter inside of Macy's when I was about 13 years old to buy 3-Step Skin Care and Black Honey Lip Sheer, to be exact. Now, I'll admit, their "allergy tested" & "100% fragrance free" tag lines never even make me think twice about trying out EVERYTHING that they send my way, but the 13 year old that lives within still gets pissy that my mom didn't take me to Lancome! Moving on, I'm really diggin' the newish Even Better Makeup SPF 15 & High Impact Curling Mascara. The liquid makeup/treatment ($24.50) covers nicely (smooth, matte finish) without completely masking my face, and the fact that it promises to help correct the appearance of hyper-pigmentation and discolorations over time is just an added bonus. I've also been using the High Impact Curling Mascara in Black ($14) everyday for the past few weeks. The formula seems similar, or maybe even identical to, their original High Impact Mascara, but this version boasts a fluffier, curved brush that really grabs and coats almost the entire lash line in one stroke--effortlessly.

Shades by Barielle in "joytini"

Barielle nail polishes (Shades by Barielle) are formaldehyde-, toluene- and DBP-free; plus there's a sufficient color collection (65 COLORS TO CHOOSE FROM) to keep most satisfied. I recently gave myself an at-home mani using the shade "joytini" -- a tangerine hue that definitely looks best with a tan. I did paint my fingers, but I think this color would be much better suited on the toes. $8 each at barielle.com
