For Fall 2009, Too Faced will introduce a few new products and add two new shades to an already existing lip collection.

Lip of Luxury is a paraben-free collection of lipsticks formulated to totally pamper your pout with ultra-moisturizing shea butter and vibrant color. They also contain pure pink champagne essences that provides a “fizzy and flavorful moisture surge” designed to smooth out fine lines and creases. The new colors, Free Love (pink velvet) and Living in Sin (Shimmering Bordeaux) are welcome additions to the popular collection, which has garnered rave reviews since its initial release. $18 each

The Smoky Eye Shadow Collection makes creating one of makeup’s hardest application techniques simple as sugar with an all-in-one kit that contains three shadow sets of three colors each for a day, night and “fashion” look. Plus, step-by-step application cards provide detailed instructions and easy-to-follow diagrams while two double-ended applicators make this a truly complete kit. The shadows are rich in pigment and their textures are smooth, allowing for effortless blending that’s essential for a smoky look. $32

Metal-Eyed Liquid Eyeliner is long-lasting, non-smudging and creates to look of melted metal in 8 glam shades like Blackout (smoldering black), Dirt Bag (red brown), Brown Sugar (golden brown), Get Lucky (sparkling emerald), Shotgun (gunmetal, Handcuffs (metallic steel) Plum Crazy (vivid amethyst—and my favorite—Twilight (sparkling sapphire). The texture of this liner is soft and silky, despite it super-sparkly effect and the precision micro-brush allows easy application. The sleek, almost watery formula also dries quickly and doesn’t flake—very necessary qualities when dealing with a tricky product like liquid liner. $17.50 each

If I had to pick just one product from these new line additions, my choice would be the Primed & Poreless Skin Soothing Face Primer. I am a total skin primer enthusiast, which I attribute mainly to the sweltering South Florida climate. When it’s almost always 100% humidity, a primer is more than needed to keep my makeup from melting away. This one also erases pores, softens lines and perfects skin without the harsh, drying side effects of most other primer products. The single shade is a neutral, translucent beige that becomes invisible upon application. Bronzers, blushes and foundations glide on without sticking to the primed areas, and even when used alone without any other makeup, the finish is velvety and smooth.
